Ms. Melissa Toomey

Melissa Toomey is excited to join The French International School! She has taught English, Writing, and Theatre for 8 years, in New Jersey, Arizona, Delaware, and Philadelphia. Before becoming a full time teacher, she toured the country performing and directing Shakespeare. She is also a published writer and playwright. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Purchase in Theatre Arts. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, playing music, and enjoying the poetry and theatre scenes of Philly.
