Ms. Delcroix joined the French International School in September 2016 after having taught for six years at Belle de Mai Middle School in Marseille, France. She studied French literature and musicology at the Paris-Sorbonne Paris IV University, and education in modern languages at the Aix-Marseille University. She has a master’s degree in education and is a certified secondary school teacher holding a “CAPES” in modern languages.

In Marseille, Ms. Delcroix taught language arts, and spent two years working with students learning French as a second language, an experience she found to be highly invigorating. Ms. Delcroix is passionate about theater, and she also taught several theater courses at her school. Just prior to joining the French International School, she organized a trip that brought 40 Middle School students to Avignon for the Theater Festival there.

In addition to French, Ms. Delcroix speaks both English and German. One of her favorite hobbies is photography, and she especially appreciates black-and-white photography and contemporary photography.
